ARCHEOAREZZO is an augmented reality (AR) cultural app that accompanies visitors to discover the Roman Amphitheater of Arezzo through four different functions:- The life-size Amphitheater: by framing the ruins with the device camera from a specific point located within the Archaeological Museum, you can view and explore a 1: 1 scale model of the amphitheater superimposed on the existing ruins.- The scale Amphitheater: by pointing the room towards any flat surface, the scale model of the Amphitheater will appear for an overall view in 3D.- Visit of the archaeological area: the route marked on the aerial photo will allow the visitor to discover the ruins of the amphitheater up close and by clicking on the pins, information sheets on the architecture and construction techniques will open.- Discover life in the Amphitheater: by touching the pins positioned on the graphic reconstruction of the amphitheater, you can hear the voices and tales of ancient Aretine characters.
